Schedule of Events and Ceremonies to Commemorate
The Anniversary of the Passing of
H.R.H. Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother, for 2010
On the occasion of the anniversary of the passing of H.R.H. Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother, the people of Chiang Rai join the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage for several days of activities and ceremonies in July 2010, based on the concept of "Give a Little More."
?Give a Little More?
Recent events have left the Thai people feeling quite saddened and distressed. To help bring a little hope to make people feel better, the Mae Fah Luang Foundation has organized a series of events at the Doi Tung Development Project and elsewhere under the theme of ?giving? that was central to HRH the Princess Mother?s life and work. It can take many forms, whether giving kindness, giving forgiveness, giving help, or giving opportunity.
Though these acts of ?giving? may seem small, they can be the sparks that gets people to care for each other. When someone ?gives,? those who receive will ?give? in return, even if only a smile. From this then can come joy and satisfaction, and a bit of unity in society.
The Mae Fah Luang Foundation, together with the people of Doi Tung, and several institutions and organizations, join together to show their gratitude to H.R.H. Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of her passing, with these activities:
