DoiTung Selected as Gifts to Barack Obama (30 Oct 15)
General Prayut Chan-ocha gifted DoiTung macadamia nuts and drip coffee products to the US President Barack Obama and leaders of G77 member countries at the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, which took place at New York City in September, 2015. Embedded within DoiTung products are the legacy of the Royal Princess Mother’s principles and aspirations to ‘help people to help themselves,’ while achieving sustainable livelihoods through harmonious co-existence between man and nature. This way of living paved the pathway for sustainable development.
Moreover, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime granted DoiTung the permission to use its seal on all DoiTung products as a global model for the practice of sustainable development since 2001.
