DoiTung wins Design Excellence Award (DEmark) and Good Design Award (G Mark) 2011 (25 Oct 11)
Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Kittirat Na Ranong presided over the award ceremony of Design Excellence Award 2011, and presented the best design award (Demark) to the DoiTung handwoven cushion cover in the category of lifestyle products. This contest is organized by the Department of Export to promote the potential of Thai products and services for export market. The Minister visited the DoiTung booth, was greeted by the DoiTung designers - Miss Naddadaung Titadilok, (right) and Miss Chaninan Tongwanich, (left) at the exhibition of BIG & BIH during October 2011 at the Trade and Exhibition Center, BITEC in Bangna.
The Demark awarded products are sent to the Good Design Award (G Mark) Contest organized by Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) in Japan. Once more, the DoiTung handwoven cushion cover received the G Mark award which demonstrates the capability and the future of Thai brand, DoiTung in the export market.
