Travel along the Thai-Myanmar border to the Wat Phra That Doi Tung pagoda, a sacred shrine for Thai, Laos and Burmese Buddhists.
Enjoy a stroll through the Mae Fah Luang Garden where flowers bloom all year round and visit the Royal Villa and Princess Mother Commemorative Hall in the midst of the northern hills.
Discover the many handicrafts produced by the Doi Tung Development Project. End your stay in Chiang Rai with a visit to the Mae Fah Luang Art and Cultural Center or Rai Mae Fah Luang, in the Chiang Rai city-centre.
