Set out on this trip at the renowned Golden Triangle, where Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand meet. Embark on a journey through the Hall of Opium and learn about the long history of opium every step of the way.

Travel along the Thai-Myanmar border to the Wat Phra That Doi Tung pagoda, a sacred shrine for Thai, Laos and Burmese Buddhists.

Enjoy a stroll through the Mae Fah Luang Garden where flowers bloom all year round and visit the Royal Villa and Princess Mother Commemorative Hall in the midst of the northern hills.

Discover the many handicrafts produced by the Doi Tung Development Project. End your stay in Chiang Rai with a visit to the Mae Fah Luang Art and Cultural Center or Rai Mae Fah Luang, in the Chiang Rai city-centre.

Check in at Doi Tung Lodge (Baan Ton Nam 31)
Afternoon:
Stroll in the Mae Fah Luang Garden

DAY 3
Breakfast and check out
Visit the Doi Tung Development Project Handicraft Centre
Drive to the Chiang Rai city center for a visit to the Wat Phra Kaew - Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Wat Rong Khun temple
Lunch (at guest's own expense)

Afternoon
Visit the Mae Fah Luang Art and Cultural Park also known as Rai Mae Fah Luang
Transfer to Chiang Rai airport for a late-afternoon flight
